Library Program: Make it Take it - Masquerade
Reader # 442 wrote: This was a very fun Make it Take it, and I hope there will be something like it again. There is only one thing I would change, and that would be having a mask to trace. Then again, without a way to trace a mask, it was completely original so...I guess we all learned a new talent - How to make masquerade masks from scratch! Yay!

Salt Water Day

Reader # 433 wrote: Salt Water Day earned a B. It was nice to have something different to do with my family but it was hot out. It would have been better if they put up tents for shade. There were games to play and a few rides and good food to eat. My brothers and I each won a hermit crab with the tank, food and everything it needed and we each won a goldfish. One councilman was giving away free toys like footballs, shovel and pail sets, and frisbees. There was a concert, too. The one I saw was aimed at kids. They were pretty good. They did a Hannah Montana tribute, but that was only so-so. I would recommend that you check it out next year. It's better than being stuck in the house.
Popstar
Wizards of Waverly Place

Reader # 433 wrote: It earned an A, because it is a great show. Alex is outgoing and fun, while Max follows her example and Justin is geeky, does his work and is always good. Alex is my favorite, she makes the show fun. I love this show. I would recommend this to a friend because it is fun to watch.
Rita's

Reader #433 wrote: I gave Rita's an A, because it's my favorite ice cream/ice shop. Every time I go there I get a cherry gelati with twist ice cream, it's delicious. There are so many different flavors to choose from, cherry, watermelon, lemon, raspberry, chocolate, rootbeer, and more. I would recommend this to a friend because everything tastes great when I go there. I love Rita's.

Reader #442 wrote: O.K. so normally I don't like Disney original movies, but this one was GREAT. Maybe it was because of the fact the Jonas Brothers, my obsession, were the stars of the movie, but there is no doubtabout Camp Rock deserving an A. It works by when you buy a pepsi bottle, check under the cap, and there will be a code, enter the code in at pepsistuff.com and you will get points for every cap, which you can use for prizes. 5 points gets you a downloadable song. My family has maybe 65 caps and we're saving up. I would recommend this to a friend because it's cool getting free things.

Library Program - Murder Mystery Lock-in

Reader #537 wrote: This was one of the best Lock-ins in the history of Lock-ins (and I am old enough to have been to nearly every one of them =P). There wasn’t really a “Murder Mystery” per say, but we played this super-awesome-murder-mysteryish game called the Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow. People also read books, ate pizza, played Capture the Flag (Darren-style), and indulged in other regular Lock-in activities. Darren and Mary were, needless to say, awesome. If you weren’t there, you missed out! Grade: A+++

The Secret Life of an American Teenager

Reader #422 wrote: The Secret Life of an American Teenager is one of the best shows I have watched this summer, and deserves the A I rated it. This show really shows you all the pitfalls of being pregnant as a teenager, and I don't think anyone would want to be a pregnant teenager after seeing what main character Amy Jurgens go through it. You can really learn a lot from this show. I recommend it to all teenagers out there. Tune in on Tuesdays at 8. Grade: A
