The Secret Life of an American Teenager

Reader #422 wrote: The Secret Life of an American Teenager is one of the best shows I have watched this summer, and deserves the A I rated it. This show really shows you all the pitfalls of being pregnant as a teenager, and I don't think anyone would want to be a pregnant teenager after seeing what main character Amy Jurgens go through it. You can really learn a lot from this show. I recommend it to all teenagers out there. Tune in on Tuesdays at 8. Grade: A

Reader #422 wrote: This book started out being just a summer reading book, something I had to read. I figured it would be boring and, well, unfun! I was so wrong, tough I read the book in one day, and I thought it was great. If you want to read a book that is suspenseful and so good you can't put it down, read it today. Grade: A

Reader # 442 wrote: This book is book one of the House of Midnight series. It is about a girl that becomes a vampire at the house of night but she is very different than any other vampire at the school. She is far more powerful, and she must do many tasks that only a vampire of her skill can complete. Many of these tasks are dangerous, though, so I can't wait to read books 2 and 3 (Betrayed and Chosen). Grade: A

Library Program: Lock-in

Reader # 442 wrote: First of all, it was supposed to be a mystery murder theme which there wasn't much of. Second, it seemed as like the whole time was only spent doing one thing - a werewolf game. I still am not sure what werewolves were doing at a mystery murder theme, but it was the 1st lock-in without Theresa so maybe it will be better next time. Grade: C
