Medalon by Jennifer Fallon

Reader # 519 wrote: This was the author’s debut novel and the first in a trilogy called “The Hythron Chronicles.” I really enjoyed this book and thought that Ms. Fallon wrote an impressive first book. The background of this story is a fantasy setting. She has strong female characters who stumble a bit at first but manage to find their footing to lead you in a page-turning adventure. For readers who love good fantasy, this series delivers. Her world is rather dark and gritty, filled with political intrigue. I found myself intrigued to the very end. Grade: A
