Hawksong

Reader Number 98 wrote: Hawksong is a captivating story full of vivid words which pull you in but never let go, even after the story ends. This story will make you want more. It contains the theme that nags at our inner souls: The battle between love and duty. This story takes everything to the next level. After reading stories by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, especially Hawksong, every other book seems ordinary. Take two waring nations, add some shape-shifting, a pull-push plot and Amelia's mind to put it all together and you get a haunting, dark tale that you might never forget! Don't just take my advice - Go and read it (but make sure I get a copy)! Grade: A

This is good for all ages from young to old. I recommend this movie for everyone. Grade: A

30 Days of Night

Reader Number 98 wrote: 30 Days of Night is a suspenseful horror story that will leave its mark even after you have watched it a week before. Compared to its graphic novel version the film is less violent and graphic yet still holds the bone chilling scenery and plotline that will haunt every waking second of your life. For people who are faint of heart or are squimish around blood and graphic murders I do not suggest this film or graphic novel. But those who enjoy something different that can scare you then I highly recommend this film/novel. But it is not for me to decide just watch and find out. Grade: B

Monsters, Inc.

Reader Number 445 wrote: Full of humor, Monsters Inc. is a movie people will enjoy while watching over and over again. The two monsters, Mike and Sulley, find a creature that is considered harmful to them- a human! Boo is automatically attracted Sulley. Its like a game of cat and mouse, it never stops! The wisecracking Mike and the sensitive Sulley are a perfect pair of friends and at the end of this comedy, you'll wish there was a second. I recommend it. Grade: B

Cirque Du Freak - Vampire Mountain (4)

Reader Number 445 wrote: Vampire mountain- a mountain where the vampire, Vampire Generals, and Vampire Princes stay- is where the young half vampire, Darren Shan, and his master, the mysterious Mr. Crepsley must go. They must face the entire Council and state why Darren has been blooded by Mr. Crepsley. Every chapter and every page, I believe, sucks the reader in the story more and more, each time read. You actually feel like your in the story! Full of horror and mystery, this book has definitely caught my eye and I cant even put it down! I recommend this to anyone who like page turners full of horror and adventure. Grade: A

Vampire Knight Series

Reader Number 445 wrote: I have recently read all of the volumes in this series that have come out, and I am very impressed. Vampire knight is an excellent manga with specific detail. This manga connects with the reader throughout every part of its story. It makes me cry during the sad parts, laugh during the funny parts, and so on. Ever since I started reading it, I fell in loved wit the 3 main characters (not literally). They are Kaname , Yuki , and Zero. I find its story amazing because of first, the romantic parts of the story. How Kaname loves Yuki , Zero secretly loves Yuki , and Yuki loves both of them! I also like this series because of its emotion on the characters actions and behaviour. I recommend this manga series to readers who cant get enough of a romantic vampire story. Grade: A

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Reader Number 445 wrote: Twilight is a romantic story about a girl who moves away to the strange green town of Forks, Washington. There Bella meets Edward, who sits next to her in one of her classes at school. Edward ends up saving her life by stopping a car from hitting her. From there, they start to date and fall in love, only for Bella to find out that Edward and his "family" are not human, they are vampires. Through the Twilight story, it shows the hardships the couple faces when things get in their way. I believe that Twilight is the best book series I have ever read because of its adventure, romance, character, detail, storyboard, and connection with the reader. In my opinion this great series will out do any other series including the Harry Potter Series. I also believe that its story by Stephenie Meyer will turn out to be a great movie and the fourth and final book, Breaking Dawn, will be amazing as well. I definitely recommend it. Grade: A

Now That's What I Call Music 17

Reader Number 445 wrote: Now thats what i call music 17 is full of different types of music such as hip hop, rap, rock, and more. It also features some good and popular songs such as:
  • "Lets get it started" - the black eyed peas
  • "Baby its you" - jojo
  • "Dare you to move" - switchfoot
  • "Take me out" -Franz Ferdinand
  • and "1985" - bowling for soup

The album is a great one, however, on the album are im the same type of music. Thus causes the album to have mostly one type of music. For instance in this cd has more hip hop and rap than other types of music such as music like rock or country. A cd that holds more than 1 type of music should be equally evened out. I reccomend this album to anyone who likes to listen to a variety of music.

Vanessa Carlton - Harmonium

Reader Number 445 wrote: This amazing album by Vanessa Carlton had perfect harmony. The different instuments played in each song flow togeather perfectly. And Vanessa, adds her own taste by playing the piano in every song as well as singing. I think that anyone would enjoy this album and would flow along with the beautiful tune and harmony in each song. I highly recommend it. Grade: A

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2)

Reader Number 445 wrote: The second book of the Cirque Du Freak series come out chilling people to the bone. This thriller is a page turner that sends readers wanting for more. People who read this book will definitly connect with each character and feel the pain when another character fades away in the story. The story shares the life of a young half-vampire named Darren Shan who is the assisstant of a wise and mysterious vampire, Mr. Crepsley. This book is so stunning and compellign that it was reviewed by other bone chuilling authors such as J.K Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter Series. I reccomend this book and the rest of the series to all horror fans. Grade: A

Alex Rider - Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz

Reader Number 445 wrote: Stormbreaker, the first in the Alex Rider series, is an amazing started of the series. Its full of different kinds of adventure like when Alex has to explore the evil master-mind, Darrius Sayle's mysterious factory, or when he is sent to a military camp for the training of the "K" unit. But throughout the whole book, my favorite part is when he comes face to face with his uncle, Ian Rider's killer. It is a must to read that is jam-packed with mystery and adventure that make wanting the rest of the series. Stormbreaker, was so good that it became a best sellerand it was even turned into a movie! I reccomend this page turner to reader who enjoy stories full of adventure and mystery. Grade: A

Good Charlotte - The Chronicles of Life & Death

Reader Number 445 wrote: I am a huge fan of Good Charlotte, ever since I was little. But I have to say that the minute I started listening to this cd, I loved it. It was mind-blowing, how amazing the songs were and how the lyrics and music blended togeather. This cd is one of my favorites. Out of all of my favorite songs by them, this cd has the most of them, such as:
  • "The world is black"
  • "Predictable"
  • "S.O.S"
  • and many many more
I have attached to these songs so much that, I always get them stuck im my head, and sing them alot too! This CD, has amazing lyrics in each song, that GC Fans can relate to. I extreamly recommend The Chronicles of Life and Death to everyone, even if not a fan of Good Charlotte. Grade: A

Lindsay Lohan - Speak

Reader Number 445 wrote: Lindsay Lohan comes back with her first cd, continuing to be a bad influence on young teens and showing them that it is alright to follow in her footsteps and get into trouble. I didnt like this cd at all. The only song, I believe, that made sence was the bonus track "Rumors". This song states that she wants to live her life the way she wants and that she wants the rumors to stop and only the truth to go into the publics hands. I also think that this song has a catchy tune. Besides "Rumors", I think that the album only shows her poor side. I do not recommend it. Grade: D
